Range Rover Sport 2012 TV ad – 60 second_Special Visual Effects

For this Range Rover commercial Evolution created a multitude of Special Effects to split the atom, ranging from underwater explosions to specially designed pyrotechnics  and many other Special effects designed and tested specifically for the advert. We made and exploded many of the Range Rover parts, made texture maps for The Mill and Glassworks. A truly great commercial that we are all very proud of.

The National Lottery Rocket for Traktor and Partizan

For this commercial Evolution FX produced the immense rolling smoke clouds for the Rocket and a beautiful firework display for this bonfire night extravaganza.

‘Ironclad’ Directed by Jonathan English – Special Effects by Evolution VFX

Evolution VFX created stunning special effects for 13th century war film, 'Ironclad' receiving 4 star reviews by all the critics! Top British actors (including Brian Cox, Jason Flemyng, Kate Mara, James Purefoy, Derek Jacobi) battled through our smoke, rain, wind and fire…and got pummeled by explosions and our full size working trebuchet, made in our Welsh workshop. The Natonial Lottery Robot for Traktor and Partizan

For this advert Evolution constructed from scratch, a beautiful Robot. The movement was created in camera by the use of rods operated by Evolutions in house puppeteers. Then Framestores magicians took away the rods puppeteers added the great chest graphic and a Robot  was born. Richard Van Den Bergh of Evolution VFX has been involved in many Robot projects such as The Bjork Robots for  'All is full of Love' and the Robot for 'Lost in Space' but he says this is one of his favourites.
